IIM Sambalpur’s 9th MBA batch of 2023-25 has concluded the placement cycle for its current batch of 314 students. This year’s placement season witnessed a 32.51% increase in the number of recruiters visiting campuses. The highest salary offered has risen by 106.81%, reaching Rs. 48.60 LPA. The top 10% and top 25% batches had an Impressive average CTC of Rs. 27.28 LPA and Rs. 21.65 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, female students have excelled, with an average salary of 15.43 LPA, while male candidates have an average of 15.23 LPA. The students were found to be the highest paid in the sectors of BFSI/NBFC, IT/Analytics, Consulting, and General Management.
This year’s placement season attracted over 216 recruiters, with a 17.58% and 14.27% increase in the average CTC and median CTC, respectively.
