Infrastructure
Classrooms
The learning begins within a classroom but should not be limited within the confines of the walls of a classroom. This is with this mindset that IIM Sambalpur functions. The institute has 4 classrooms having a capacity to accommodate 60 students, equipped with the latest technology and high-speed internet connectivity. IIM Sambalpur is also the first to implement the idea of Flip classroom, a learning environment where much of the learning happens outside the classroom, within the industry premises.
Auditorium
Hostels
There are three hostel buildings inside the campus of the institute; two for boys and one for girls. The students of IIM Sambalpur are provided rooms on a twin-sharing basis. The rooms are properly ventilated and well furnished with a bed, almirah, mattress, study tables, and chairs provided to each student. The housekeeping staff maintains the cleanliness of the rooms on a daily basis. High-speed Wi-Fi has been made available which is accessible from anywhere within the campus premises. Each hostel also has a separate common room where a TV and table tennis facilities are installed to cater to the recreational needs of the students.
Recreational Facilities
Mess
A student mess is present within the hostel premises. The mess offers a healthy mix of different Indian dishes originating from different parts of India. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. The mess affairs are overlooked by a mess committee, which is responsible for maintaining the overall hygiene and quality of food.
Library
