Dr. Shweta holds the position of Assistant Professor in the field of Operations Management at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur. Prior to joining IIM Sambalpur, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Kanpur in the Department of Management Sciences. She holds a doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) in the field of Supply Chain Management. Subsequently, she joined the University of Petroleum Energy and Studies, Dehradun, in the School of Business as a full-time faculty member and gained one year of post-PhD teaching experience. She received her M. Tech degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra. Her research and teaching are aligned with the theory and applications of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Her research interests include the implementation of Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques and Structure Equation Model development in the supply chain. Additionally, she has an interest in contract designing to improve collaboration in supply chain management through optimization. She has published research papers in reputed journals like International Journal of Production Economics and Benchmarking.
