Dr Pratibha Maan is an assistant professor in the Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management area at the Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur, Odisha. She earned her doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (IIM M). She has cleared the UGC-NET examination, a national-level test conducted by the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Government of India. She is also an MBA graduate from Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Her research work has been published in renowned journals like Benchmarking: An International Journal; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal; and Indian Journal of Indian Relations (IJIR). She has further participated in prestigious conferences as a single author, such as IIFT Delhi, IIT Bombay, etc.
Her research interests focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace, multi-generational employees, Team Performance, Young generational cohorts, Workplace Communication, etc. Furthermore, she is passionate about Women's Empowerment and Gender at Work studies. She had the honour of chairing the ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ conference track for two consecutive years at the 9th PAN IIM World Management Conference held at IIM Sambalpur in January 2024 and 2025. She further contributed as a pitching panellist in the Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) boot camp organised by AICTE & the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell held at IIM Sambalpur. She reviews research work from the Asia-Pacific Journal of Business Administration, Abhigyan and the IIM Raipur Case House. Apart from her professional realms, she enjoys travelling and reading books. Finally, she continues to make spiritual practice a significant part of her everyday existence.
