Dr. Bhawana Rathore is Assistant Professor in the area of Operations Management at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur, Odisha. Before joining IIM Sambalpur, she was a full-time faculty in the Operations Management area at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad. She holds a Ph.D. degree from the NITIE, Mumbai in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management. She has almost four years of experience in academics. During her Ph.D. journey, she has won two international prestige awards one from INFORMS body and other one from Foundation for professional ergonomics. In addition to this, she has published research papers in reputed journals like Production Planning & Control, International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, Computers & Industrial Engineering; Ergonomics journal & TQM. Her research interests include Lean, supply chain risk, Lean six sigma, industrial ergonomics.
