He is a Doctorate in Management with a specialisation in Finance, from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, is a graduate in Commerce with first class honours from SRCC and post graduate in Business Economics, both from Delhi University. He has written pedagogical cases for corporates and published internationally in the area of banking and finance. He has taught at some of India’s leading business schools, IIMs, XLRI, MDI and at WITS Business School, South Africa. His expertise is in Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Shareholder Value Analysis and Capital Market Behaviour and has advised on financial analysis and valuations, EVA estimation, pricing, financial performance evaluation, restructuring and bench marking.
He facilitates workshops in Finance, Business Insights, Analytics and Business and Commercial Acumen. He partners with Learning and Development teams and customises workshops for companies in India as well as across the globe. His training and coaching experience spans over 25 year, during which he has interacted with over 10000 executives across 600 plus engagements. Participants draw capability enhancing insights about their business and financials. He brings functional depth, business breadth and enriches learning with his exposure to Automobiles, Aviation, Banking and Financial Services, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Heavy Industries, IT, ITES, Infrastructure, Pharma and Health, Telecom among several other sectors.
Nitender also simulates businesses and has effectively used business simulation games as a route to understanding the complexities involved in running modern day corporations. Simulating a business involves creating a suitable architecture, replicating significant business processes and then encouraging decisions that map operational and strategic thinking.
