Overview

Foundation Programme in Management (FPIM) at IIM Sambalpur is a comprehensive and dynamic fully residential programme and is designed to unlock the potential and elevate the carriers of undergraduate degree pursuing students, master’s degree pursuing students and working graduate students. This programme offers an immersive learning experience tailored to develop essential skills, foster innovation, and prepare the students for leadership roles in today's dynamic business landscape. In addition to that, this programme also offers the opportunity to the potential students to explore the possibility of pursuing MBA in future and provides the glimpse of the different knowledge domains of business world.

  • 14 Days (2 weeks)
  • 25th May to 8th June, 2024
  • The programme will be held at IIM Sambalpur Campus
Application and Programme Fees
  • Application fees (non-refundable): Rs. 500 (inclusive of GST @ 18%)
  • Programme fee:
    • Early Bird fee is Rs. 75,000 (inclusive of GST @ 18%)(For applications submitted by 3rd April, 2024)
    • Regular fee is Rs. 85,000 (inclusive of GST @ 18%): (For applications submitted on 4th April, 2024, and onwards until 18th May, 2024)
    • A group discount of 15% on Regular programme fee for minimum five or more students is admissible.
  • The Programme fee is payable within 5 days after receiving the offer of admission.
  • The Programme fee includes tuition fee, programme materials, AC Accommodation, Food & Meal, city tour, and other costs related to the programme.
  • In case a student withdraws from the programme by 15th May, 2024, a sum of Rs. 10,000 will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. Any withdrawal from the programme after this date will not be eligible for any refund of the programme fee.
  • Candidates are required to deposit the requisite fee through the NEFT/RTGS etc in the institute bank account. The bank details of the institute are provided as follows.

Admission Process

a) Eligibility criteria for FPIM
  1. Students enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme in any discipline in any year of their graduation. Or
  2. Students enrolled in a master’s degree programme in any discipline in any year of their post-graduation. Or
  3. Working professionals who graduated in last three years (Graduate in any discipline with upto maximum of three years work experience). And
  4. Age Limit: Not more than 25 years.
Note: No standard test score or interview is required for admission.
b) Application Process
  1. Interested candidates must fill in an online application form along with a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- payable online.
  2. The Admission Committee shall review the applications and take the decision on admission.

Foundation Programme in Management (FPIM) at IIM Sambalpur is an immersive, fully residential, 2-week programme that integrates theory, practice, play, social activities, and culture.
