IIM SBP Admission Requirements
Admission Policy — MBA-BA Batch 2025 (PDF)
- A bachelor's degree from a UGC/AICTE-recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification professional experience (internships/apprenticeships do not count).
- Strong quantitative aptitude (mathematics, statistics or economics) and sound business fundamentals.
- English proficiency, particularly for international applicants.
- A valid CAT score meeting the Institute's published cutoff.
AIT Admission Requirements (for Dual-Degree transfer)
- A recommendation from IIM Sambalpur.
- First-year Master's transcript from IIM SBP.
- A recognised bachelor's degree with a strong academic record (professional experience may offset marginal academics).
- Minimum IELTS 6.0 (conditional admission with bridging English coursework possible for lower scores).
- Minimum CGPA of 2.75/4.0 (or 6.8/10) in first-year IIM SBP coursework to transfer to AIT Bangkok.

AIT's entrance English requirement is 6.0; conditional offers are given at 5.0–5.5 subject to completing compulsory English classes before thesis credits. Only IELTS/TOEFL scores under 2 years old are accepted.
