Dr. Chhavi Gupta is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the area of Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur. She holds an FPM in Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur, along with an MBA from IMI Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi.
She has over ten years of experience across industry and academia, having previously taught at LBSIM Delhi, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai; and Xavier Business School, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata among others. Her corporate experience has been in the in the banking and financial services sector across HSBC and ICICI Bank. Within her academic roles, she has also led and contributed to executive education and management development programmes in collaboration with industry.
Her research lies at the intersection of consumer behaviour, services marketing and language, with a broader interest in sustainability and CSR. She has published in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at various academic conferences.
