Prof. (Dr.) Anasuya Haldar completed her PhD from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, NIT Rourkela and was a visiting CDE-IEG Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre forDevelopment Economics (CDE) of the Delhi School of Economics (DSE). She obtained her M.Phil. and M.Sc. in Economics with specialization in Econometrics from the Calcutta University and qualified UGC-NET JRF in Economics. Her research interest is in the areas of Energy Economics, Environmental Sustainability, Microeconomics, Development Economics and Applied Econometrics. She has published several research papers in top-tier journals including the Journal of Cleaner Production, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Economic Analysis and Policy, and Sustainable Development. She also has a book publication by Springer entitled “Reconciling Energy Poverty and Climate Change”. She has reviewed several research papers in reputed journals. She has actively participated in workshops and presented her research papers in international conferences.
