By Road: Sambalpur has a well-networked transport facility for both commercial and public transportation. You can take the national highway NH 53/Economic Corridor 1 (EC1), which is part of the Asian Highway-AH46 (Mumbai-Kolkata Highway). Sambalpur is well connected via road to cities like Rourkela, Raipur, and Bhubaneswar.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Hirakud Railway Station, which is approximately 5 km away from IIM Sambalpur. Sambalpur also has two other railway stations: Sambalpur Junction and Sambalpur City, both connected to major cities across India.

By Air: The closest airport is Jharsuguda Airport, about 75 km from the institute. Participants can also travel via Raipur/Bhubaneswar International Airport.
